Kick-off meeting, Albania

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the ROLES project, an acronym for Art-Driven Capacity Building for Mental Health De-stigmatization. The journey officially began on January 15-16, 2026, when the ACT Center hosted international partners in Tirana for the project’s kick-off meeting. This two-day event served as a foundational milestone for the collaboration, bringing together diverse expertise from across the region. During the sessions, partners engaged in detailed discussions regarding the project’s technical framework. The primary focus of the meeting included:
- Work Package structuring: defining the phases of research, development, and implementation.
- Partner responsibilities: establishing clear roles and accountability for each participating organisation.
- Immediate action plans: outlining the first steps toward the project’s execution and long-term sustainability.

Results: Formalised the structure of all Work Packages and set an implementation timeline for the first phase. Defined specific responsibilities and lead roles for each international partner based on their expertise. Established monitoring and evaluation protocols to measure the project's impact on mental health de-stigmatization. Achieved a clear and comprehensive understanding of the project's financial guidelines, including budget allocation, reporting procedures, and eligible expenditures.

Testimonials from participants: Feedback collected through the evaluation questionnaires indicated that the vast majority of participants were highly satisfied with the overall organisation and flow of the activity.
