This follow-up workshop was delivered to a group of 18-year-old students from a local high school. The session focused on empathy and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), providing participants with practical tools to better understand others, express their needs respectfully, and manage conflicts constructively. Through interactive activities, discussions, and reflection exercises, participants explored the importance of active listening, emotional awareness, and respectful dialogue in their daily lives.
Results: Participants gained a better understanding of empathy and the principles of Nonviolent Communication. They developed skills in active listening, expressing feelings and needs respectfully, and identifying constructive ways to handle disagreements. Through the activities and discussions, students reflected on their own communication habits and increased their awareness of how empathy can improve relationships at school and in everyday life. The workshop also encouraged a more respectful and inclusive atmosphere among participants.
